Four expert panelists will headline the Rubber & Plastics News Livestream on the latex industry, scheduled for Aug. 26 at 2 p.m. Eastern.
Panelists to highlight RPN Livestream on latex Aug. 26
Titled “Latex Industry: What’s on the Horizon?” the webcast will cover such topics as sustainability, issues regarding the natural rubber trade, ongoing work with alternative forms of natural rubber, and the impact on the sector from the COVID-19 pandemic.
The one-hour Livestream will be hosted by RPN Editor Bruce Meyer and Reporter Jim Johnson. The industry panelists who will participate are:
• Colleen McMahan, lead scientist for domestic natural rubber for the Agricultural Research Service of the U.S. Department of Agriculture;
• Katrina Cornish, director of the Program of Excellence in Natural Rubber Alternatives at Ohio State University;
• Tom Marsh, global head of technical service, product development and laboratory services for Corrie MacColl International; and
• Jim Finn, president of Akron Dispersions Inc. and longtime conference chairman of the International Latex Industry.
