RICHFIELD, Ohio—Nexen Tire America Inc. is the exclusive rally sponsor of the Never Ride Stock (NRS) Experience, to be held April 14-16 at the New York International Auto Show.
Nexen is one of four premier sponsors of the NRS Experience. The NRS rally, which took place April 12, began in Staten Island, N.Y., the flagship home of NRS, and ended at the freight entrance of the Jacob Javits Center.
Attendees received shirt embroidered with Nexen's purple logo on the right sleeve.
Last year, Nexen said more than $15 million worth of custom vehicles attended the NRS Experience, with more expected this year.
More than 120,000 visitors are projected to attend the event, where Nexen has a 60,000-sq.-ft. space.
Jason Yard, marketing director for Nexen Tire America, said the tire maker shares "the same passion and enthusiasm for modifying cars as our customers, and we're excited to see such a massive event come together in a unique space."
