LINCOLN, Neb.—Monolith Materials Inc. has canceled its Feb. 4 webinar.
The company, which last year introduced the operational capability of its proprietary process to convert natural gas into carbon black and hydrogen, said it is "taking a step back" in order to plan and execute a webinar series for the "diverse audiences" with interest in the company.
"The overwhelming response we received from such a wide and varied audience made it impossible for us to create our envisioned webinar experience," Monolith said in a statement.
The webinar, which was titled "Revolution: How Monolith is Changing Carbon Black Manufacturing Forever," was to be held at 8 a.m. CST.
There is no timeline to the re-launch of the series.
"The response opened our eyes to the number of professionals, myriad companies and varying markets that are interested in Monolith," Monolith's chief commercial and supply chain officer Chris Cornille said. "We're going to plan a series of webinars that will allow us to effectively address the wide variety of interests in our company."
