OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla.—An Oklahoma jury reportedly has ruled in favor of Michelin North America Inc. in a product-liability case stemming from a fatal 2016 traffic accident involving a BFGoodrich light truck tire.
The case, first filed in May 2018, went to trial April 4 in the District Court of Oklahoma County in Oklahoma City and lasted six days.
The plaintiff in the case, Gary Schick, is described as the "personal representative" of the estate of Clifford Schick, who was killed in the May 17, 2016, crash. He was a passenger in a 2004 Ford Excursion SUV driven by James Wise.
