BETHLEHEM, Pa.—The Mid-Atlantic Rubber & Plastics Group will sponsor an all-day symposium at Lehigh University titled, "Plastics & Elastomers: Meeting Challenges in the Traditional & Renewable Energy Industry."
Presentations at the MARPG symposium include:
- "Different nitrile elastomers in down-hole drilling applications," by Wayne Furlan, Baker Hughes;
- "Elastomer testing for down-hole applications," by Nicki Hershberger, Akron Rubber Development Laboratory;
- "Comparison of low-temperature tests for elastomers in energy applications," by Dilip De, Greene, Tweed & Co.; and
- "The role of fillers in PTFE compounds," by Mike Scesa, AGC.
