ROVERETO, Italy—Marangoni S.p.A. plans to raise prices on its range of retreading materials in the Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region, effective Jan. 17.
The price increase will involve all products manufactured and/or distributed—including tire retreading materials, rubber compounds, truck and earthmoving retreaded tires—in all EMEA countries served by the retreading systems and direct retreading business units, with adjustments at the line and product family level, the company said.
The increase is due to the "continuing rise of energy costs and prices of raw materials and transport," Marangoni said.
Marangoni said it will provide details to customers in the coming days and that any questions will be handled by the company's sales force.
