Distribution firm M. Holland Co. now is offering thermoplastic elastomers made by Enplast Americas.
In a news release, officials with M. Holland in Northbrook, Ill., said Enplast "offers an extensive portfolio of products covering a wide range of elastomeric properties suitable for most applications and markets."
M. Holland now carries Enplast's EZPrene-brand thermoplastic vulcanizates (TPVs) and Enflex-brand SEBS-based and overmolded TPEs. EZPrene TPVs are soft and rubbery with exceptionally good compression set, tensile and heat resistance properties, officials said.
Enflex materials are designed for applications requiring long-term sealing performance at elevated temperatures, as well as other requirements of high-performance elastomers.
Enplast, headquartered in Houston, operates more than 220 million pounds of production capacity at sites in Turkey, China, Germany, India, Russia and the U.S. M. Holland is one of North America's largest resin distributors, selling more than $1.5 billion in materials to more than 4,000 customers annually.
Enplast and M. Holland both are units of Ravago Group, a global distributor, recycler and compounder. Ravago acquired a majority stake in M. Holland in August 2023.
