Arisan Kimya to distribute full Lion Elastomers portfolio in Turkey

GEISMAR, La.—Lion Copolymer Holdings L.L.C. has appointed Istanbul-based distributor Arisan Kimya San ve Tic. A.S. to market its products in Turkey.

The agreement, said Lion in a Nov. 1 statement, gives Arisan Kimya access to sell the full Lion Elastomers product portfolio in the country.

This will include Royalene EPDM, RoyalEdge EPDM, RoyalTherm silicone modified EPDM, Trilene liquid EPDM, Trilene FreeFlow EPDM, styrene butadiene rubber, black masterbatch SBR, Duradene SSBR, Diene polybutadiene rubber and Stereon styrene-butadiene-styrene.

Established in 1988, Arisan Kimya has been active in the rubber industry and has "a strong presence" in industries such as personal care, pharma, food and nutrition, said Lion.

Acquired by Vinmar Group in March 2022, Arisan Kimya represent 40 suppliers and serves over 700 multinational companies.
