MIAMI—The Latin American & Caribbean Tyre Expo and the Latin Auto Parts Expo has been postponed once again.
The combined show was to be held in late June of this year, but organizers have postponed it until June 14-16, 2023.
The show will be held at the $192-million Amador Convention and Visitor's Center in Panama City. It will be the first time both shows will be held at the same facility at the same time.
"We feel that we cannot present a professional experience to our exhibitors and visitors due to the uncertainties still presented by the COVID-19 pandemic," show organizers said.
"We have also taken into consideration the current geopolitical situation in Eastern Europe that disrupts travel to Panama."
Organizers said their primary concern is its exhibitors and visitors.
"We understand the investment to exhibit and visit the expo in Panama is not insignificant, and we want to present the best business opportunity for the exhibitors to sell their products to the visitors at the expo," organizers said.
This marks the fourth time the show has been postponed by the COVID-19 pandemic.
In 2019, the Latin American & Caribbean Tyre Expo was held in June and the Latin Auto Parts Show in July, both at the Atlapa Convention Center in Panama City.
