PITTSBURGH—Chemical supplier Lanxess Corp. has expanded its distribution partnerships with Lintech International, Omya Specialty Minerals and DKSH.
The expanded agreements, announced Feb. 22, cover industrial preservatives in North America.
According to Lanxess, the pacts "enhance" the three distributors' offerings in the coating, adhesives, sealants and elastomer (CASE) market, as well as other building material spaces.
The agreements took effect Jan. 1.
"As the integration of the IFF microbial control business progresses, we are delighted to extend our distribution networks to encompass our complete range of industrial preservatives with these dedicated partners," said Bill Rohrer, U.S. head of sales for Lanxess' Material Protection Products industrial business line. "The new additions will position them for success in delivering more comprehensive solutions to meet our customers' industrial preservation needs."
Lanxess acquired IFF's microbial control unit in July 2022.
Lintech and Omya will add Lanxess' Preventol to their portfolios, which includes Lanxess' Kathon products.
Lintech has purview over the Southeastern U.S. up to New England, while Omya covers the Midwestern U.S.
DKSH (doing business as Terra Firma in the U.S.) already sells Lanxess industrial preservatives in the Western U.S. and will add the acquired IFF microbial control products to its portfolio.
DKSH also handles the Canadian region.
Lanxess' industrial preservatives also include Metasol, Rocima, Bioban, Rozone, Amical and Kordek.
