Recently, the international supplier of seals and gaskets restructured its sales services to place a greater emphasis on a growing U.S. market.
Klinger USA Sealing, essentially the sales structure of Gumpoldskirchen, Austria-based Klinger Holding, now has sales coverage in place for industrial sealing, specialty fabrication, and materials and distribution markets in the U.S.
"Customers can now get expert advice and solutions from our team members most experienced in their markets, regardless of where they might be located," said Scott Peters, Klinger USA Sealing CEO.
With "key acquisitions" having been made over the last several years in the U.S., Klinger said it will look to expand further in this country in the coming years.
In January 2020, Klinger Group acquired Texas sealing company GPI, boosting Klinger's footprint in oil, chemical, power generation, gas and wastewater.
GPI maintains four locations in Texas, in Borger, Lubbock, Odessa and Amarillo, and was formed in 1982.
"GPI's multiple business locations will significantly improve our presence in the USA and result in even higher levels of customer proximity and service quality," Klinger Group CEO Daniel Schibli said at the time.
