The rubber industry is gearing up for conference season, opening opportunities to learn, grow and network.
It's also a chance to share some of the latest research.
Here's a look at some upcoming industry events seeking white papers and abstracts for presentation.

About the event:
ITEC, the largest tire manufacturing exhibition and conference in the U.S., returns in May and will do so with more opportunities to learn, network and dive into industry trends.
In addition to a technical session and industry expo, this year's event includes an expanded general session with keynote speakers, panel discussions and one-on-one interviews with industry executives and experts.
The conference portion of ITEC 2024 will feature technical presentations highlighting some of key innovations, trends and product developments facing the tire industry. These sessions are 25 minutes in length and must offer compelling topics that would interest engineering, operations, R&D and other key professionals in the tire industry.
ITEC is set for May 14-16 at the John S. Knight Center in Akron. Registration is open.

Technical presentations are about 25 minutes in length and should appeal to a broad audience. Presentations could include, but are not limited to, the following topics:

About the event:
For nearly 40 years, the Clemson Tire Conference has been a place for exploration through tire design and innovation, research and manufacturing in the tire industry and its adjacent fields.
This year's event, set for April 23-25 in Greenville, S.C., is expected to bring attendees from around the globe.

This year, the Clemson Tire Conference is focusing its programming on latest advancements, challenges and innovations throughout the tire industry, and is seeking topics including (but not limited to):
Proposals, submitted through the online submission portal at clemsontireconference.com, should include a brief abstract.
The deadline for submission is Feb. 16.
Those whose papers are accepted for 30-minute presentations at the conference will be notified around Feb. 26.
About the event:
The 43rd Annual Conference and Meeting, planned around the theme "Beyond the Surface–Models, Materials, and Manufacturing," will be at the University of Akron in the Jean Hower Taber Student union Ball Room, Sept. 11-13.
Tire Society's annual conference is a forum for engineers, scientists, users, policy makers, students and advocates to learn about innovations that will drive our industry in the years ahead.
The conference will include technical paper presentations; a keynote address by an industry leader; a plenary lecture by a recognized technical speaker; live panel discussions; sponsor exhibits; an awards banquet with a technical speaker; networking; and continuing education.
There will also be distinguished service award nomination results and presentations.

Tire Society is using a new electronic abstract submission system, intended to improve the experience via more timely notifications of abstract acceptance.
