ANNAPOLIS, Md.—The International Sealing Distribution Association has some new faces and new titles on its Board of Directors and executive committee.
Nominating a mix of new members and realigning others, the group boasts a diverse group to lead the ISD in the coming year, according to the ISD. Members range from 10-employee companies to the largest manufacturing and distribution companies in the sealing distribution industry.
"We are excited to announce our new Board of Directors," said Amy Luckado, ISD executive director. "The unique, individual talents our new Board brings can be attributed to ISD's high standard of excellence. Combining together the skill set and expertise of the group raises ISD's mission to a new level."
Josh Hale, who has served on the Board of Directors for three years, was named the new ISD president.
"It's an honor and a privilege to continue to serve on ISD's Board," Hale said. "ISD's best known for connecting organizations looking to expand the fluid sealing industry and gathering the expertise together. That is the goal of the Board of Directors and I believe with the tenure, knowledge and experience of this new Board, we are way ahead of the curve."
ISD's Board of Director members serving a three-year term include: Mark Hunt (ESP International); Matt Fortuna (Hercules OEM Group); Derek Boone (Fort Worth Gasket & Supply); and Brad Kadue (Precision Associates, Inc.).
ISD's executive committee includes: Hale (president, from Master Packing & Rubber Co.); Brian DeSpain (vice president, from Global O-Ring and Seal L.L.C.); Mike Rothkopf (treasurer, from Rothkopf & Associates); and Clyde Sharpe (past president, from Elasto Proxy).
