HOUSTON—The International Institute of Synthetic Rubber Producers has published its 2024 edition of Worldwide Rubber Statistics, its annual collection on data related to the synthetic rubber industry.
The Houston-based association has published Worldwide Rubber Statistics for more than 30 years, and this edition includes revisions to elastomer plant capacities as the SR market continues to be dynamic, the IISRP said in a news release.
In addition, the institute's Chinese office has played a key role in this publication to enhance the intelligence on the Chinese market.
Beginning with the 2021 edition, the publication is available only electronically on an annual membership basis. The new format enables real-time updates.
The publication provides a comprehensive analysis of capacity by elastomer type, by geographical distribution and by corporate ownership. It also features a graphics section that emphasizes statistics and a section on capacities of synthetic rubber production facilities throughout the world, including updates on planned and announced expansions of synthetic rubber plants.
The IISRP also has added a summary of changes to provide a broad overview of the key updates.
The publication is available to order on the IISRP website at iisrp.com, or by email at [email protected].
Incorporated in 1960, the IISRP has more than 60 corporate members located in 22 countries that collectively produce 75 percent of the world's supply of synthetic rubber.
