The Right Place, an economic development agency in Grand Rapids, worked with the Michigan Economic Development Corp. (MDEC) to attract Holo to the state.
Quentin Messer Jr., MDEC CEO and president of the Michigan Strategic Fund, called the company's relocation a "win for West Michigan" as well as the entire state.
"We look forward to working together to add jobs and provide greater opportunities for our friends and neighbors," he said.
In announcing the company's relocation to the state, Gov. Gretchen Whitmer said the business is another outcome of bipartisan support of business growth in Michigan.
"Over the last year, we have worked across the aisle in Michigan to empower MEDC to compete for every project and every job, including a $7 billion investment from (General Motors Co.) creating 4,000 jobs and a $2 billion investment from (Ford Motor Co.) creating 3,200 jobs," she said.
"We will continue working in a bipartisan fashion to ensure Michigan's innovative businesses and hardworking people can thrive."
