CUYAHOGA FALLS, Ohio—The final touches have been added to the agenda for the inaugural Healthcare Elastomers Conference, organized by Rubber & Plastics News, PolyOne and R.D. Abbott.
Gary Sandhu, who represents Covestro's TPU North American commercial operations, will round out the program with his presentation titled, "Thermoplastic Polyurethane Elastomers: A Versatile Material Meeting the Demands for Plastics in Healthcare Applications."
The discussion on TPUs adds depth to a lineup of presentations that will cover a variety of elastomeric materials used throughout the medical industry, including silicone, latex and thermoplastic elastomers.
Two keynote presentations are planned—one for each day of the event, which runs May 21-22 at the at the Renaissance Schaumburg Convention Center Hotel in Schaumburg, Ill.
Registered attendees receive access to each of the more than 15 presentations and will have the chance to network with speakers and fellow attendees throughout the show. Registered attendees receive admission to a special cocktail reception, sponsored by Trinseo, and will receive complimentary lunch and refreshments.
