AKRON—Harwick Standard Distribution Corp. has been selected as the distributor for Neville Chemical Co. in the U.S. and Canada. The move strengthens Harwick Standard's ability to serve the rubber, plastics and polymer-related markets.
Based in Pittsburgh, Neville Chemical manufactures low molecular weight thermoplastic and liquid resins that are used throughout applications in the coatings, adhesives, ink and rubber industries.
"Today, Neville Chemical Co. is one of the world's most highly respected hydrocarbon resin producers, known for its innovative research, high quality products, exceptional customer service, and competitive pricing," Harkwick said in a news release. "Its products enhance the performance characteristics of manufactured goods such as coatings, adhesives, ink, roofing and rubber."
Harwick Standard has served the rubber, thermoplastics and other polymer-related industries for more than 90 years. Headquartered in Akron, Harwick operates sales, marketing and technical support in the city, along with a warehouse facility. The company has a second office and warehouse facility located in Pico Rivera, Calif., and has developed a logistics network across the country.
