FSI helps grant children's wishes with $40,000 donation

ST. LOUIS—For Foam Supplies Inc., giving back and helping others is a valued tradition.

That's why the polyurethane systems house has once again donated $40,000 to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Missouri and Kansas, the company said Feb. 28. The funding will help grant the wishes of four local children between the ages of 2 ½ and 18 facing critical illnesses.

"Since our founding 50 years ago, FSI has had a longstanding resolve to be a contributor to the community it serves," CEO Todd Keske said in a statement. "Through our partnership with the Make-A-Wish Foundation, we can help enrich the lives of children facing challenging circumstances with hope, strength and joy."

FSI employees for years have volunteered their time and energy to making a positive impact on the nonprofit and other surrounding charities in the St. Louis area, the company said. Through this employee volunteer initiative, the company annually raises thousands of dollars through grassroots fundraisers and internal campaigns.

"We are incredibly grateful for FSI's continued generosity and commitment to our mission and Wish kids," said Lisa Kral-Lauterbach, senior director of community and corporate philanthropy at Make-A-Wish Missouri and Kansas. "A wish forever transforms the lives of children, their families and entire communities.

"FSI's generous gift, and the continued support of their employees, puts us one step closer to achieving our vision of granting the wish of every eligible child," she added.
