AKRON—Flexsys is preparing to increase prices globally on a variety of products. Beginning Sept. 1 (or as customer contracts allow), the company will raise prices by up to 12 percent on all insoluble sulfur, 6ppd and 4-adpa products.
The price increases, Flexsys said, will help offset inflationary pressures.
The company also continues its innovation for a next generation antidegradant that could be a replacement for 6ppd.
"Collectively," Flexsys said in a statement, "these actions will enable Flexsys to continue to supply its customers with industry-leading products while continuing to provide world-class levels of quality, service and reliability that Flexsys is renowned for."
A producer of rubber chemicals and solutions, Flexsys operates seven manufacturing facilities and two technology centers. The company's portfolio includes Crystex vulcanizing agents, Santoflex antidegredants and Duralink HTS post-vulcanization stabilizers.
