HENRY, Ill.—A trove of assets comprising 1,200 lots of new and used equipment at former chemical manufacturing plant Emerald Performance Materials will be auctioned off July 20-21.
The specialty chemical manufacturing facility that was sold last year once made products for the aerospace, rubber and other industrial segments.
The auction will be conducted by the Industrial Asset Recovery Group.
Expected to be available for sale are machinery and equipment from a large machine shop, rolling stock, shipping containers, tank farm, motors, valves, gauges, actuators and raw material stock, among other items.
"This plant is filled with high-quality assets and we expect buyers to find tremendous deals," said Stuart Millner, president at IARG. "The machinery and equipment at this plant were used to produce high-quality industrial products for many years, and we are pleased to make these assets available to our customers."
