PLYMOUTH, Mich.—The Detroit Rubber Group will host its Spring Technical Meeting May 11 at CJ's Brewing Co., located inside the famed U.S.A. Hockey Arena.
Doors open at 2:30 p.m., and the program is set to begin at 3 p.m. The agenda, which includes two talks from industry experts from Arlanxeo and Zeppelin Systems U.S.A. (also the two sponsors of the event), is estimated to last about an hour.
Talks include:
- "Therban HT: Compounding with a New Heat-Resistant HNBR Elastomer," to be given by Victor Nasreddine, North America technical manager with Arlanxeo; and
- "Compounding in the Modern Millroom," to be given by Bob McNabb, national sales manager for rubber plants with Zeppelin Systems U.S.A.
A happy hour will follow the technical talks.
The cost to attend is $65 for non-members and $50 for members. There also is a cost of $25 for OEMs and students to attend.
A one-year membership to the Detroit Rubber Group is included in the non-member cost. All proceeds go to the DRG Scholarship Program.
