JENKINTOWN, Pa.—The Rosen Law Firm, based in New York with an office in eastern Pennsylvania, is representing shareholders in a class action suit filed against Trinseo P.L.C. stemming from Trinseo's latex emulsion leak into Philadelphia-area waterways March 24.
According to the law firm, one shareholder with Trinseo stock filed the class action suit April 20 in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania on behalf of all shareholders who "purchased or otherwise acquired Trinseo P.L.C. (stock) between May 3, 2021, and March 27, 2023."
The lawsuit cites Altuglas, a subsidiary of Trinseo based in nearby Bristol, Pa., which reported the 8,100-gallon latex emulsion leak into a local creek and ultimately into the Delaware River, March 24.
Trinseo did not immediately return calls from Rubber News seeking comment.
Trinseo produces plastics and latex binders in the U.S., Europe, Asia-Pacific region and internationally.
