BEIJING—China exported 53 million units of "new rubber tire" in November 2021, up 9 percent on the same month a year ago, according to official state figures.
The weight of tire exports in November 2021 arrived at 650,000 metric tons, up 7 percent in November 2020, said China's General Administration of Customs.
The value of exports in November, as presented in U.S. dollars, shot up by 21 percent year-on-year to $1.6 billion.
Over the first 11 months of 2021, China exported 539 million units of tires, registering a 25-percent rise from a year ago.
Export value jumped 25 percent from the same period in 2020 to $15.1 billion. Volumes in tonnage climbed 16 percent to 6.4 million metric tons.
China's tire production in November dipped 3 percent year on year to 80 million units, said China's National Bureau of Statistics. In October the number fell by 6 percent.
Production over the first 11 months totaled 819 million units, up 12 percent on the same period in 2020.
