DALLAS—Caterpillar Inc. has named Bridgestone Corp. as a supplier of the year in the construction industries category.
Caterpillar procurement leadership presented the awards to its top-performing suppliers during its Supplier Excellence Recognition event Dallas, Dec. 1.
About 150 suppliers gathered for the event and awards ceremony where suppliers were recognized in the categories of Supplier Excellence, Aftermarket Excellence and Supplier of the Year.
The top-performing suppliers met or exceeded rigorous requirements and achieved world-class certification levels under Caterpillar's Supplier Excellence programming from May 2021 through June 2022, the company said.

Caterpillar clearly recognizes the attention to quality of our entire value chain, from factories to our global dealer and customer support network.
