CarbonX to represent Netherlands at technology show

DELFT, Netherland—CarbonX B.V. has been selected amongst 70 companies to represent the Netherlands at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, an internationally renowned global tech event, taking place Jan. 5-8, 2023.

The advanced materials company participated in the official kick-off, which took place at CES Amsterdam on Oct. 13 at the Beurs van Berlage Convention Center.

"We are very proud that CES has recognized our potential to help companies address climate change through material innovation," said Rutger van Raalten, CarbonX CEO and co-founder. "It's exciting that achieving greater sustainability through performance is once again at the heart of the tire industry, particularly when it comes to fuel efficiency and reducing tire and road wear particles."

The Netherlands delegation will present in two pavilions at CES 2023: the Netherlands Tech Square for startups and the Next level Innovations Pavilion for scale-ups.

CES is one of the world's largest technology events and draws attention to companies that are developing solutions to address global challenges.

In the coming months, CarbonX said it will follow a training program offered by the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Netherlands Enterprise Agency to fully prepare for the global stage of CES.

This will mark the seventh year the Netherlands participates in CES. Over the past six years, more than 250 Dutch companies have visited CES as part of the Dutch delegation, according to CarbonX.
