MAGOG, Quebec—Camso received two awards from Toyota, one for the second year in a row.
Toyota awarded Camso with the Core Value award: Respect for People (Toyota Material Handling) and the Global Contribution award (Toyota Industries Corp.), according to a Camso news release.
The Core Value awards go to suppliers that live Toyota's values and act as industry role models, Camso said. They're split into five categories, including Respect for People, Customer Focused, Embrace and Drive Change, Teamwork and Family Spirit, and Professional Excellence.
Camso said it received the Respect for People award, which recognizes partners that treat employees as their most valued asset. The company points to its onboarding and employee training programs along with its active global presence in communities as evidence of its dedication.
"This recognition is proof that our values of Empowerment, Integrity, Teamwork and Commitment resonate with our customers and are clearly visible and beneficial when interacting with us," Gregory Lewandowski, OEM sales director, material handling, North America at Camso, said in a statement.
For the second year in a row, Camso received the Global Contribution award, which recognizes companies that meet Toyota's requirements in providing products and service.
"For our team, this award represents the recognition of an increasingly strong partnership with Toyota Industries Corp., and the important level of mutual trust between our organizations," Emmanuel Marchat, representative director, Japan, at Camso, said in a statement.
Camso designs, manufactures and distributes off-road tires, wheels, rubber tracks and undercarriage systems for applications including construction and agricultural industries. It employs more than 7,500 across locations in North and South America, Europe and Asia.
