SALT LAKE CITY—Cambelt International Corp., a manufacturer and supplier of a wide range of conveyor belt systems, will partner with Elko, Nev.-based Ram Enterprise Inc. for installation and service of Cambelt's high-incline conveying systems.
Cambelt, known for its flexible sidewall conveyor belts, has named Ram as its factory-preferred agent, entrusting Ram for the installation, maintenance and belt vulcanization of Cambelt's conveyance products.
Ram works in bulk material handling in a range of industries.
"We are excited to partner with Cambelt, a company known for its innovative conveyor belting technology and commitment to quality," said Laila Miguel, president at Ram Enterprise. "This partnership will allow us to provide our clients with industry-leading material handling solutions that are not only durable but also designed for high-performance applications, including vertical and steep-angle conveying."
According to the contract between the two firms, Ram will commission Cambelt's conveyor systems, "providing critical spare lists and reviewing product maintenance and operation with end-users;" conduct site inspections on behalf of Cambelt; and serve as the factory-preferred delivery and inspection company for Cambelt's transloaders.
Ram representatives, in turn, have been certified in Cambelt's standards and procedures for their extensive roles with Cambelt's products.
"We are thrilled to engage Ram Enterprise ... for this important segment of our business," said Justin Barker, vice president of sales and marketing at Cambelt International. "Their commitment to quality, combined with their industry experience, makes them the ideal partner to help us bring our innovative material handling solutions to a wider audience."
The CamBelt, CamWall and CamFlex are produced in Cambelt's proprietary press, "where the base belt, sidewalls and cleats are molded and vulcanized together to form a homogenous, rugged product."
"This partnership marks a significant step forward in providing advanced, high-quality conveying solutions with installation and continued maintenance services, for industries that rely on uninterrupted operations and predictable maintenance, particularly in challenging high-incline environments," Cambelt stated in a Dec. 4 release.
