WEST CONSHOHOCKEN, Pa.—Global standards organization ASTM International will resume in-person meetings at its fall committee week, Oct. 3-8, in Atlanta, Ga.
The decision was made following a review of pandemic metrics, government guidelines and member survey results, ASTM said.
Registration begins July 5.
The organization will monitor the guidelines set by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, state and local governments, and the hotel venue to ensure compliance at the time of the meeting.
ASTM International also encourages attendees to self-screen before meetings and refrain from attending if they are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms. Unvaccinated attendees should wear masks and social distance.
