INDIANAPOLIS—The Association for Rubber Products Manufacturers saw 16 graduates receive diplomas July 29, completing the group's seals product design and manufacturing training course.
The course takes a deep dive into rubber science, as well as the principles, design and producibility of both static and dynamic seals.
The course was led by veteran rubber industry experts with more than 140 years of experience.
"This training was extremely useful and lifted my expertise on seals and polymers to much higher levels," according to one participant.
Graduates included:
- John Tranquilli – Apple Rubber Products;
- Nathaniel Craig and Kaitlyn Malloy – Caterpillar Inc.;
- Graydon Finn, La Her, Ben Larson and Alex Sherman – Colder Products Co.;
- Ryan Chao – Datwyler;
- Haitham ElShiekh – ESP International;
- Rob Paladichuk and Joe Paolini – MoldTech Inc.;
- George Bainbridge – Prince Rubber & Plastics Co.;
- Jacob Mancini – The Rubber Group;
- Brandon Heitger and David Kinion – Schaeffler; and
- Tom Fichter – The Timken Group.
This same training course will be offered in 2025, as well as additional in-person training courses.
