INDIANAPOLIS—The Association for Rubber Products Manufacturers (ARPM) has updated its hose handbook, known as the IP-2, for 2025 and beyond.
ARPM Executive Director Letha Keslar said that the new handbook has been updated with the latest industry innovations. The text's first update since 2020 is "designed to empower users with the knowledge to make informed hose selections and implement best practices," and supports several diverse hose applications, she said.
"ARPM is excited to announce the release of the newly reviewed and revised IP-2 Hose Handbook," Keslar said in a statement. "This comprehensive technical publication has been carefully updated to provide authoritative information on materials, construction, tolerances, applications, fittings, storage care and maintenance of hose."
Keslar thanked the ARPM's team of technical advisors for their continued hard work on each of the association's handbooks. The association carries publications for the hose industry, along with belting, rolling and general rubber, it said.
"We extend our gratitude to our dedicated technical advisors, whose systematic review has ensured that this edition reflects the latest practices and advancements in the industry," Keslar said. "ARPM remains committed to providing valuable resources that drive excellence and innovation in the field."
ARPM members can access the updated handbook at no cost, along with other publications, with their membership. Non-members can find the new book for $650, along with other ARPM publications, on the company's publications page.
