WARRENSVILLE HEIGHTS, Ohio—The ACS Rubber Division opened its Spring Technical Meeting April 26 in the Cleveland suburb of Warrensville Heights with a keynote address and a full slate of technical papers.

The three-day event will feature about 40 presentation, along with 11 tabletop exhibitors. Jim Eddy, retired from Zeon, is serving as co-chair of the technical association during 2022.
One highlight of the meeting will be the Science & Technology Awards Banquet April 27, where the Rubber Division will present seven awards. The Charles Goodyear Medal, the division's highest honor, goes to Steve Cron and Timothy Rhyne, both retired from Michelin. The duo led the development of Michelin's Tweel non-pneumatic tire system.
