March courses include:
- March 15: Course: "The Fatigue Limit of Rubber;"
- March 22: Course: "Compounding Fluoroelastomers;"
- March 28: Course: "Thermoplastic and Functional Elastomers;" and
- March 29: Communications Webinar: "What Is My Value and How Do I Talk About It?"
The ACS Rubber Division is highlighting two of the courses, including the March 15 "Fatigue Limit of Rubber" and the March 22 "Compounding Fluoroelastomers."
"The Fatigue Limit of Rubber" looks at the concept of fatigue thresholds and how to use this to make more durable products.
The course will cover crack growth behavior, intrinsic strength and how to make a product that operates below the fatigue limit.
"Compounding Fluoroelastomers" shows how and why fluoroelastomers work when other hydrocarbon elastomers will not. The course covers the different types of fluoroelastomers, compounding, properties and molding.
