The ACS Rubber Division has several learning opportunities in August, including featured training from industry experts Joe Walker and Richard Strong.
All courses are available online only. Webinars are free for Rubber Division members, and ACS courses are free for undergraduate student members, with discounts available for masters and graduate student members.

- Aug. 4 – Formulating Fridays Webinar on antidegradants, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., presented by Flexsys;
- Aug. 9 – Course: "Setting Up a Rubber Molding Process," from 1-5 p.m., presented by Joe Walker of Elastomer Technologies;
- Aug. 9 – A free webinar on updates on regulatory and advocacy activities related to fluoropolymers (including fluoroelastomers) in the U.S., European Union and United Kingdom, from 12-1 p.m., presented by Deepak Kapoor of Gujarat Fluorochemicals Ltd.;

- Aug. 21 – Course: "Elastomers for Selective Gas Separation, including Carbon Capture," from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., presented by Richard J. Spontak of North Carolina State University;
- Aug. 24 – Webinar: "Maintaining High Performance in Challenging Testing Laboratories," from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., presented by Fred Meadows, senior technical advisor of product supply management and chemistry manufacturing and controls with the United States Pharmacopeia; and
- Aug. 30 – Course: "An Introduction to Continuous Vulcanization," from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., presented by Richard Strong of Elastomeric Consulting Services.
