Sponsorship opportunities are available for the ACS Rubber Division's Bioelastomer Award, one of the organization's prestigious Science and Technology Awards issued annually.
According to the ACS Rubber Division, the Bioelastomer Award, first issued in 2018, honors "significant contributions to the advancement of biomaterials in the field of rubber science and technology."
Honorees receive $3,000, an engraved plaque and $500 for travel expenses to and from the awards ceremony.
"The recipient must have made an outstanding contribution ... to naturally derived elastomeric polymers and protein-based bioelastomers," according to the ACS Rubber Division.
The award winner can provide a video for others to view at the awards banquet; receive a logo and special signage at the banquet; be referenced at the International Elastomer Conference; be promoted on various industry social media channels; and have their company's name placed on the aforementioned plaque.
