WASHINGTON—A total of four new members are joining the American Chemistry Council.
The new regular members, approved by the group's board, are:
- Synthomer P.L.C., of London, is a global supplier of aqueous polymers serving industries including coatings, construction, textiles, paper and synthetic latex gloves;
- Kmtex L.L.C. of Port Arthur, Texas, which separates and purifies chemistries including glycols, solvents and aromatic hydrocarbons; and
- Nylon Corp. of America of Manchester, N.H., a maker engineered nylon resins.
At the affiliate level, Leschaco Inc., of Houston, a global logistics service provider, also is joining ACC.
"The addition of these members strengthens an already large group of strong and committed companies, dedicated to advancing the health, safety and well-being of our global community as well as advancing the industry's policy priorities," ACC CEO Chris Jahn said in a statement.
