BETHESDA, Md.—The Auto Care Association (ACA) will host a webinar addressing the possible impact of proposed trade policies and tariffs in the upcoming Trump administration.
The free webinar will be held 1-2 p.m. ET on Jan. 9 and feature speakers Patricia Paoletta and Kent Bressie, partners at Washington D.C.-based law firm HWG L.L.P.
Key topics during this one-hour webinar will include:
- The impact of tariffs on U.S. industries, consumers and global supply chains;
- Key trade agreements, renegotiations and disputes during the Trump era; and
- The long-term implications for U.S. trade relations and the global economy.
The association's invited subject matter experts will offer attendees a diverse perspective on these topics and will discuss lessons for businesses moving forward, the ACA said.
According to the ACA, the webinar will be particularly informative for all automotive aftermarket industry members who import and/or export; source raw materials, parts and components or finished goods from international markets; and those with global supply chains.
