CHICAGO—More than 500 representatives and 200 companies in the power transmission and motion control industry are slated to attend the upcoming Power Transmission Distributors Association 2022 Industry Summit, set for Oct. 27-29 in Nashville, Tenn.

Known as "MD-IDEX," the networking system brings together distributor and manufacturer executives to discuss market strategy.
Economist Alan Beaulieu, founder and president of ITR Economics, will address the evolving business landscape as opening keynote.
Employers can attend breakout sessions on best practices for hiring and retention, and Risha Grant, founder and CEO of Risha Grant, L.L.C., will talk about how to develop a field of dynamic and diverse candidates.
Career placement experts from local schools and technical programs will be part of a panel in this second session, discussing how to attract talent before students hit the job market.
