LAVONIA, Ga.—Latexco Group, in an effort to build international operations and strengthen its position in the U.S. market, has reorganized its leadership structure within the U.S. division.
Latexco Group CEO Lieven Vandendriessche will oversee activities in the U.S., while also working to build strong cohesion with the Belgium headquarters. Vandendriessche takes over for Ben Ducatteeuw, who served as CEO of Latexco US since 2016.
"The Latexco Group is fully committed to the U.S. market," Vandendriessche said in a statement. "We will maintain our laser focus on exceeding the needs of our customers, organizational growth and sustainability. I'm excited about our future at Latexco US as the only producer of both latex and polyurethane foam under one roof."
Prior to joining Latexco last year, Vandendriessche was division managing director for Balta Group and general manager Europe at BekaertDeslee.
Ducatteeuw, Latexco said, has left the company to pursue other opportunities.
Latexco US also appointed Michiel Jansen as chief operating officer. Jansen, who previously was the company's senior project manager of operations, brings experience in lean manufacturing as well as supply chain and project management.
In his new role, Jansen is expected to lead production supervisors and functional managers to implement programs and strategies that allow Latexco US to improve upon its positioning as an agile supplier within the bedding industry.
