AKRON—Interested in hearing more about the effect of electric vehicle development on the hose and fluid transfer industry?
Smithers' Jeff Andrasik will present a webinar March 12 at 11 a.m. EST on consumer attitudes and market sizing predictions, as well as what the shift toward EV development means for hose types, materials and construction.
Special attention will be given to hose and assemblies for battery thermal management, according to Smithers.
"With so many years of experience working with automotive hoses, Jeff can offer a lot of insight into this industry, even as it evolves so rapidly," said Jim Popio, Smithers vice president for North America, materials science and engineering. "Anyone who attends this webinar will walk away with a better understanding of how electric vehicles are changing the landscape and more confidence when it comes to navigating those changes."
Andrasik is the general manager for product testing in North America. According to Smithers, he has developed test programs for hoses and fluid transfer assemblies for the automotive, industrial, aerospace, nuclear and consumer products industries.
He is a member of NAHAD's Hose Safety Institute Advisory Council.
