MANSFIELD, Ga.—Beaver Manufacturing Co. Inc. has earned the Parker-Hannifin Hose Products Division's Fiscal 2020 Gold Link Strategic Supplier Award.
Mansfield-based Beaver is a converter of industrial yarns, utilizing the following processes: twisting, winding, treatments and new yarn technology. Beaver's products are used in the manufacturing of Parker's hose products.
Beaver officials said the process for qualification is stringent, and the firm provided outstanding products and service to Parker throughout the year.
"Parker HPD feels this is a significant accomplishment and one worth recognizing," Beaver said. "The award is in recognition of our steadfast dedication to the process of continual improvement and our execution of excellence in all key metrics. As a Gold Link Strategic Supplier, we are essential to the visibility, velocity and innovation of Parker Hannifin's supply chain and business."
Chuck Senne, Beaver vice president of sales, said Beaver has earned the honor from Parker before, but this was the first time since Parker had combined its industrial and hydraulic hose businesses into a unified Hose Products Division.
Besides its headquarters operations in Mansfield, Beaver also has operations in Mexico and in Europe, through its acquisition last year of Intercord Thuringen GmbH of Germany.
