The MD&M East show was one of six conferences combined into IME East, which took place at the Javits Center in Manhattan June 13-15.

MD&M East, along with five other combined conferences, drew more than 4,000 attendees and 300 exhibitors to the Javits Conference Center in New York City June 13-15.

Flexan L.L.C., based in Lincolnshire, Ill., offers contract manufacturing services for medical device needs, including silicone, TPE molding and custom rubber compounding. "As an organization, we think and operate as an extension of your manufacturing environment with a rigorous focus on quality, lean six sigma and delivery," a Flexan representative said.

Ruijiong Biotech Co. Ltd. was established in 2019. The company, based in China, focuses on developing and manufacturing medical supplies used in pulmonary and critical care anesthesia. Ruijiong was certified as a "high-tech enterprise" in Hunan Province in 2022.

Madison Polymeric Engineering has been a manufacturer for the medical industry of converted foams and sustainable paper-based packaging materials of all types, shapes and sizes for more than 40 years. The company has facilities in Branford, Conn., and a new facility in Juarez, Mexico.

TPE- and silicone-molded medical components were on display across the expanse of the Javits Center at MD&M East June 13-15.

NSK America Corp. offers electric and pneumatically-driven high-speed spindle systems. NSK America also offers modular micro-grinders and polishing equipment with speeds up to 320,000 rpm. NSK America is headquartered in Hoffman Estates, Ill.

Protolabs, headquartered in Maple Plains, Minn., provides rapid manufacturing of low-volume, 3D-printed, CNC-machined, sheet metal and injection molded custom parts for prototyping. Protolabs bills itself as "one manufacturing source—from prototyping to production—for product developers, engineers and supply chain teams across the globe."
