Knox County Mayor Glenn Jacobs opens the International Elastomer Conference in Knoxville on Oct. 11. He is better known by the name Kane, which he has used throughout his career as a professional wrestler. He has been involved with the WWE since 1995 and was inducted into the wrestling organization's Hall of Fame in 2021. He has been mayor of Knox County since 2018.
