River Falls, Wis.-based NELA-USA was at the 2019 International Elastomer Conference exhibiting its fully automated vision inspection machine to detect faults and variations in dimension, said NELA-USA managing director Bob Barton. Manufactured in the Black Forest region of Germany, NELA’s machine is typically used for small rubber parts under four inches in diameter, such as O-rings and seals, Barton said. Though Cassatto, Italy-based Lawer S.p.A. is listed as a first-time exhibitor at the 2019 International Elastomer Conference in Cleveland, the manufacturer of automatic powder weighing systems actually exhibited at the IECs in 2014 and 2015, according to Lawer Sales Area Manager Luca Mariuzzo.
