SAN BERNADINO, Calif.—TireHub L.L.C. plans to open a Regional Distribution Center (RDC) in San Bernadino, aimed at increasing the wholesaler's overall capacity and strengthen its customer service.
The new RDC will support TireHub logistics centers in the Western U.S. "providing quick replenishment to better serve customers."
The new RDC is expected to open in "early 2025." TireHub did not provide a more precise opening date.
Dunwoody, Ga.-based TireHub—a joint operation of Bridgestone Americas Inc. and Goodyear—opened RDCs in Allentown, Pa., in Decembr 2023 and in Dallas-Forth Worth in October 2024.
"We have added three RDCs to our network in just over a year to enhance our service to dealers and retailers," TireHub CEO Ted Becker said.
"Opening San Bernadino reinforces our ongoing commitment to meet growing customer demand and further strengthens our market position as a trusted partner to tire retailers and dealers."
TireHub disclosed plans in July 2023 to start opening regional distribution centers to support the operations of its 80-plus distribution centers throughout the country.
