ATHENS—Paris-based specialty chemical manufacturer Safic-Alcan has opened a new subsidiary in Athens, Safic-Alcan Hellas.
The new subsidiary will manage local warehousing for Greek customers, Safic-Alcan said. The subsidiary's general manager is Yannis Antonopoulos, an industry veteran who will be in charge of the company's performance products market in Greece.
"We will bring innovative solutions to local customers, and serve our existing and future principals in the best possible way," Safic-Alcan CEO Philippe Courbette said about the new subsidiary.
Safic-Alcan provides a wide range of polymers, materials and additives for numerous applications including rubber, coatings, adhesives, thermoplastics and polyurethanes.
