LEHI, Utah—Purple Innovation has selected Henry County in Georgia as the location for a new manufacturing facility.
The county, southeast of Atlanta, will be home to Purple's third U.S. mattress manufacturing facility.
"We are proud to be a U.S/ manufacturer," said Purple's CEO Joe Megibow. "During these challenging times, we feel especially proud that we are able to invest in significantly expanding our manufacturing and production capacity domestically, creating many new jobs in the process."
The 520,000-sq.-ft. factory will create 360 new jobs. It will be the company's first manufacturing site outside its home state of Utah, and will be designed to meet consumer demand for its products on the U.S. east coast.
"Advanced manufacturing has always been an integral part of Henry County's economy," said Pierre Clements, chair of the Henry County Development Authority. "We're excited that this will now include Purple's innovative comfort technology. Purple will be a great addition to Henry's impressive presence of advanced manufacturing companies."
