WALDKRAIBURG, Germany—Kraiburg TPE GmbH & Co. K.G., with manufacturing and distribution locations for its thermoplastic elastomers around the world, has opened Kraiburg TPE UK Ltd.
With a sales office in Stafford and a warehouse in Stoke-on-Trent, Kraiburg said it is poised to deliver customer-centric solutions and "uphold its hallmark service excellence."
"This strategic move underscores the company's commitment to serving the important (United Kingdom) market directly," Kraibrug stated in a release earlier this month. "It marks a pivotal milestone in the company's development to further enhance local customer services."
The U.K. always has been an important market for the company, however supply chain challenges and headwinds in other market dynamics prevented optimal service and reach there.
To address this, Kraiburg partnered with Abbey Polymers; and in January, the company started its U.K. sales and warehouse operations.
"Expanding operations in the U.K. not only reinforces the company's commitment to the region but also streamlines the purchasing process for customers," the company stated. "By establishing a local presence, lead times and shipping costs are significantly reduced, providing customers with greater convenience and efficiency in their procurement journey."
In addition to the U.K. expansion, Kraiburg announced the appointment of Michal Mucha as the lead sales representative for Kraiburg in the U.K.
Mucha maintains a depth of experience in TPEs, specifically in the automotive space. He will be assisted in his role by Philip Jahn, technical sales manager for EMEA.
