JACKSON, Miss.—Innocor Inc. will increase production of polyurethane foam at two facilities in Baldwyn, Miss., with a $4.1 million investment that also has support from the Mississippi Development Authority, Lee County and the city of Baldwyn.
Expansion plans call for doubling capacity of Innocor's production lines and relocating a second line to a former distribution center, moves that will create 90 jobs and bring the company's total employment in the area to around 540.
The MDA is providing assistance for the building, infrastructure and equipment costs. The county and city are offering property tax exemptions.
"We are very excited for the opportunity to expand our business in Baldwyn," Innocor General Manager Kevin Lindsey said in a statement. "This would not be possible without the Mississippi Development Authority's commitment to grow our existing industries in the state."
