FREUDENBERG, Germany—HF Mixing Group has opened a new administration building at its existing headquarters in Freudenberg to support both internal development and external cooperation with customers.
The 43,000-sq.-ft. administration building is in addition to the existing 21,500sq.-ft. building, which the mixing machinery maker said also has been refurbished.
The building symbolizes "modern, agile and cross-disciplinary work," HF said in an Oct. 25 statement, adding that the construction of the unit was a "sign that we have great expectations for this site."
"Even if contemporary business is more difficult (than before), we are 100-percent convinced that we will successfully master the crises of the global economy," said Holger Rudzio, managing director and co-CEO.
"We are giving work processes greater flexibility and agility," he added, noting that the new building would enable "agile project management and flat hierarchies."
Also speaking during the opening ceremony, co-CEO Ian Wilson pointed out "the noticeable change" associated with the project.
"The state-of-the-art approach that we decided to take for the new building in Freudenberg also very much reflects our technology leadership," he said.
