SINGAPORE—Flexicon Singapore Pte Ltd. has opened a new Jakarta, Indonesia, office to serve the Southeast Asia market.
The new office, which comes after the company's accelerated growth in the region, will provide factory-direct sales and engineering services, Greg Slack, vice president of global sales, said in a Flexicon Corp. news release.
The Jakarta staff will have full access to Flexicon's engineering resources, he said.
Flexicon, headquartered in Bethlehem, Pa., established its Flexicon Corp. (Australia) Pty. Ltd. to support the region, in which it had been marketing since 1974. In 2008, it tripled the size of its Wacol, Australia, facility, and added a factory direct office in Singapore in 2014, Flexicon Singapore Pte Ltd.
